Meran was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, where growing up in a diverse, international community shaped his open-minded and people-focused approach to business. Since 2018, he has partnered with start-ups and scale-ups across the globe, and in 2020 he founded Karmatech, building trusted relationships in the UAE, UK, Europe, Singapore, and the US.
He believes true strength lies in building from the ground up - whether it’s companies, relationships, or careers. Having founded his first company at 24, launching 5 startups since then - 3 of which continue to thrive - he brings hard-earned, firsthand insight into the challenges of scaling businesses. His journey gives him an empathy & credibility when partnering with founders navigating growth themselves.
Outside of business, Meran plays Saturday league football, enjoys hiking the Lancashire & Cheshire countryside, passionate about cycling, cooking, health & fitness, spending time with family, live sports (mainly lower league football!) and finding new opportunities to invest.
